When Age Is Just a Number

A son of Vietnam, having lived and worked in the Kingdom of Belgium for many years. At an age when most choose comfort and tranquility, I have chosen a different path—a journey back to my roots, carrying a special mission.

Inspiration from my own battle

The idea for this journey was sparked by my own personal experience as a stage 3B lung cancer patient. After six years of resilient fighting, I have been healed, and I realized that cancer is not the end of the road. Having fought for my own life and witnessing others in their daily, hourly struggles, I asked myself: "What can I do to ignite the flame of hope for them?" Brussels2Saigon was born from that very conviction. This Euro-Asian journey of compassion is not about proving myself; it is about ensuring that every turn of the wheel connects generous hearts, joining hands to soothe the pain of cancer patients in both Belgium and Vietnam.

Rigorous Preparation & Iron Discipline

The Brussels2Saigon journey is not just limited to the intercontinental route; it is the culmination of every kilometer I conquer daily across the roads of Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Poland... This journey is not for fleeting dreams; discipline is my compass.

From the early days when I could only manage 5 km of walking and 15 km of cycling, I have now increased the intensity to over 40–50 km per day to prepare my body for the great journey ahead. This endurance and scientific preparation serve as my highest commitment to the project, to our sponsors, and to the cancer warriors who are following this journey.
